The Human Statue by Tracey Alley

geralt pixabay

The human statue

The echoes roll unanswered
Cross the valley of my mind
In the light of shining truth
I remain completely blind

Past complicated and undecided
My life hangs in tatters
A screaming voice inside my head
My soul, like crystal, shatters

Standing frozen in uncertainty
Unsure which way to go
My life has been suspended
I’m still reeling from the blow

Surely there is hope
Somewhere waiting for me
Surely one day I will
Be all that I can be

Until then I will remain
A statue in your midst
Made cold by hot emotion

I pray that I’ll be missed

My Friend by Tracey Alley

My friend?

At a time when I was needing
You walked away from me
At a time when I was bleeding
You walked away from me
At a time when I was crying
You walked away again

And you say you are my friend?

A Changing World by Tracey Alley

A changing world

The new sex rules
But old sex was cool
Now no sex is o.k.
Condoms, aids, no way

Sex and race discrimination
Equality and liberation
Politically correct conversation
It’s all too much for me

Our morality’s changing
The lines are blurred
Making up new rules
For our changing world

Joining by Tracey Alley

Joining

Your tongue on my nipple
Your hand on my belly
Your mouth moving lower
Oh, please, go slower
Holding your hips
Kissing your lips
Your tongue in my ear
Your hand in my hair
Pulling you closer
Go faster, now slower
It’s happening now
I can feel it, wow
Arching my toes
Your smile says you know
Later you hold me
Squeeze me so tight
Your smile on my lips

Your passion in my heart

Dear One by Tracey Alley

Dear one

Hello dear one,
Can you stop a while?
There’s something on my mind
I just wanted to let you know
I think I’m dying inside

Hang on dear one,
I need you to stay
There are things I have to say
I need you to know
I’m crying on the inside

Please wait dear one
I’ll be quiet if I must
But I’d like to tell you how I feel
I’d just like you to know
I may not be here after a while

Goodbye dear one
I understand you’re busy
No time to stop with me
I leave this for you so you’ll know

When you’ve time enough to hear

Message to a dying friend by Tracey Alley

PixArc Pixabay

Message to a dying friend

Sitting on the edge of a precipice
Fighting alone against the demons within
A silent struggle, a battle unseen
No outward clue to the anguish you’re in

Still going about your daily chores
Trying hard with all your might
To hide the pain of body’s betrayal
Let no one know it’s not all right

A film of sweat upon your brow
Gives lie to your iron will
Yet those of us who love you
Can see that you are ill

Standing in the midst of a plateau
I call to you out there
To say that you are not alone

That I will always be here

The Truth by Tracey Alley

The truth

Calling all lovers of mysterious and macabre
The spooky unknown, nature’s own wild card
Believers in dragons, unicorns, ape men
The Loch Ness monster, mermaids, and golem

U.F.O’S, spaceships and little green men
Lost planes and ships or living again
Mysterious paintings, animals, and ghosts
Just give me truth, not elaborate hoax

Cause I’d like to believe in fairies and elves
In the mythical phoenix and Atlantean shelves
But I’d rather have truth, no matter the cost

Even if all of life’s mysteries are lost

I'd like you to know by Tracey Alley

I’d like you to know
There’s something about me
That I’d like you to know
Though it may look differently
I’m not very strong you know

Your words to me when said
I take them straight to heart
And if your words to me are cruel
They tear my soul apart

For inside, I’m like jelly
Small and weak and scared
My heart lies on the floor

Please be careful where you tread

Free to be by Michael Garvey

FREE TO BE
Angels on clouds
Birds on the air,
We all float on life’s dreams
Dreams give us the joy to know
Life is free.
Yes, free to dream,
Yes, free to live.
Free to be
From the black cloud of doubt,
The blight of non life
The destroyer of air.
To believe is to succeed,
We are all but a breath away
From where we wanna be.

Travelling by Michael Garvey

Travelling
As I move from pillar to post
The people all look the same
Bags always to many, and to big
Sweaty hot and scruffy
Running for a late train or flight
Kids always causing a fuss.
The human race is on the move, consuming as they go.
As I leave England again for some glamour place,
Florida, Delaware, New Jersey, Brooklyn, Toronto, Paris or Barcelona.
The irony of living out of boxes
And sleeping on a sofa
Never fails to make me smile.
On the outside its all experience,
Good for the soul is travel.
On the inside!!!!
The irony makes me scream and cry with frustration.
Is there somewhere for me, to stop, to breath.
Somewhere to place my world,
Somewhere, somewhere!!!

Disappearing by Michael Garvey

DISAPPEARING
Time can be a beautiful thing
You can while away the hours
In a dream state
Sitting....waiting....
For the time to go....
A beautiful dream state of bliss

Time doesn’t stop for me ....
For you.
For the lovers in the dark
Waiting for that first touch.

Time has no respect
For the solders
Waiting to fight
Or a person fighting
To live...
Time just says ...NOW...
Now is what I am giving you.
I'm giving this moment
You must take it
Please don’t wish me away
For I will not come back
And visit...
Once I 'am gone...
I 'am gone....
Make the most of me
Enjoy me I will not stick around
Please be patient

And enjoy the breath I give you.

Flamenco in the Paris night by Michael Garvey

Flamenco in the Paris night.
She came through the door
Like a Saville evening,
Hair as black as a raven,
Spinning round,
Beguiling me,
Like a Goya painting she Enchanted me.
Dressing in black,
Foot-stomping to the hand claps
And guitar sound.
Flamenco in the Paris night
Bathed in red light
Passion breathing from the walls.
Spanish lady will you meet me tonight
I am trapped in your passion
Wrapped up in your movement
Hand shapes beckoning me in the dark
Feet Gliding on air,
Spanish lady the night calls me
But we will meet,

in time, our dance will be one.

Waywood Pines

http://www.spoilertv.com/

I loved last season, I am a big fan.
Even got the books.

Excellent opening Season...
Season two started last night with none other than Michael, Mr Lostboys. (Jason Patric)

SEASON 2 EPISODE ONE: Three years have passed and Wayward Pines has been taken over by the First Generation...Kids. In the middle of civil war, Theo is woken up to be the one and only doctor in town.

Wayward Pines is in turmoil still. Armies circling the town. It looks like things have been taken over by the next generation of Wayward Pines Academy.
Three years after Ethan and the resistance escaped the town. Shit has kicking off.

The new guy is Dr. Theo Yedlin (Jason Patric). His character is a surgeon who will rise to the call of leadership and help the residents of the queer town survive in the chaotic world they are in, according to Zap 2 It.
Theo escapes the clutches of
Kerry Campbell, one of the W.W.P.A freaks (Wayward Pines Academy) by throwing himself from the car on the way to the hospital, and belts It out of sight.
A lot of the original characters are back, including Ben (Charlie Tahan), Kate (Carla Gugino) & Megan (Hope Davis), it appears that Ben has taken leadership of the resistance.

ooh, Theo gets a crash course of why he can't leave Wayward Pines lol
