Yes I work as a cab controller on the weekends, spends weekdays working on my writing or when I can.
Today we’re plugging Kay’s Angel Series, I have had the pleasure of
reading this, love it as well, that’s how we met lol I read and reviewed her
work and here we are!

So
how would you describe 'your book (s)'?
I would describe my books as unique and totally of the bat. Not what you’d expect.
What
Genre is your work mainly? Do you tend to stay in the same vein or are you
hoping (if not already) to explore new ventures?
I like the paranormal/supernatural genre but am hoping to break off into a different vein, if not i’m totally cool with it.
What
inspired you to write 'your book (s)’?
During school I got bullied a lot and it was my coping mechanism, to have my characters at the time go through the same things and have a different outcome then me helped me stay true to who I was and not fall into their group. That and I was too weird for them which suited me just fine.
Who was the easiest character to write and why?
Hardest
and why?
I would have to say easiest would be Angel, because she’s believable, and in a way a piece of my personality rubs off on her so it makes it easy to relate to her.
SPOILER ALERT
Hardest would have to be Lucifer, you’ll meet him briefly on 10th April in second book and mostly in third book, but he’s just so... evil and not totally with it... the only thing I relate to him is the fact I myself am not totally all there. But which writer is? :D

Are
your characters based on real people? People you may know or TV/Movie stars?
Alyssa in first book is kind of based on a real person..... And her personality is EXACTLY the same as the persons in question... you Just wanna slap the woman! :D
I don’t base my characters on any tv or movie characters, but when writing for Jay I do envision a Ian Somerholder type look-alike :D *swoons*
Without
giving anything away, what is/are your favorite scene(s) in 'your book'?
Without giving anything away?? I shall try.. :D
When Angel becomes stronger and takes matters into her own hands in book one. :D
If
'your book (s)' had a theme song, what would it be and why?
I would have to say Evanescence-Whisper, it allows me to write my action and death scenes without issues.
Do
you listen to music while you write your book (s)? If so ... what songs?
All the time, I can’t write without music!!
I listen to an array of songs... Anything to do with Evanescence, the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, the Burlesque soundtrack, Nightwish, and my fave boys also known as Ashestoangels, William Control and Obscure Pleasures. I am actually listening to Anokato for book 3 of the Angel series :D
What’s
up next for you?
Up next would be Angel book 2 Re-incarnation on April 10th, I am currently writing book 3 of her adventure, there is also a few ongoing projects I’m working on, so hopefully they’ll be with you by the end of the year but hopefully by Summer the ELKAT project will be with you all. It’s so much fun writing with you Ellie :D

mastered what is called #ELKAT! Keep you posted on that peeps, me and Katie
collaborated on a little project and hope to do more for ya. We’re airing out
new things and trying a dabble in new genres. So look out for that x

babygirl so what inspired you to be a writer? Anything in particular that
spurred you on, or are you just awesome!
I’m awesome! Lol But what inspired me was being able to make up my own worlds and characters and after reading J.K Rowling and the Brothers Grimm I always wrote during high school, my friend still reminds me I was the girl during P.E sat in the corner not actually participating but being away in my own little world and getting injured because of it, but I wouldn’t have had it anyway! I think what spurred me on was the support I had, everyone that liked me urged to keep doing so.

What a question :D Both!!The chicken came from the egg but there is no egg without the chicken.....I hope I got this right... If not I proved to you all that I am naturally blonde... wait... I just told you.. dang it :P

little background into your writing: when did you start? What was your first
piece? First published piece, tell us about your general history…
I started to write properly when I was nine or ten but before that I’d paint stories on unused wallpaper with my friend Carys in the garden (she’s my Angel model)
My first piece was horrible!! I actually threw it out the other day... I was probably ill with some kind of flu... I must have been.. It was THAT bad haha.
First published piece is of course my lovely Angel in secrets of the blood :D
General history?.. I grew up with my mam and two brothers, we moved around a lot so making friends has always been a problem for me. My mam and dad got divorced when I was young so I was with one or the otner. My brothers always bullied me and still do to this day but I can be a btich back so it’s not a biggie. I have a great publishing family now, and am surprised I have the friends I do have, I’m not exactly normal and I know this, I also know I can be a handful, a moo-bag as my mam would say, so I’m surprised I have who I do have in my life and am always grateful for them.
Do you have any favorite books or authors?
What a question??! ESSAY TIME :D
Fave authors, Rue Volley, she’s a brilliant woman! J.K Rowling, Stephenie Meyers The Host, I’m really excited to see the film and see if they ruined it or brought the book to life. The house of night novels, morganville vampire novels, the Sookie Stackhouse series (although I do prefer the series True Blood, but ssshhhh tell noone).

you working on anything else besides this?
Yes I am ;D I’m not only answering all these questions, but working on ELKAT project and Book 3 of the Angel series :D

could you give us a few words to people who haven’t yet read your book (s),
sell your work ;)
My book Secrets of the Blood is very unique, I haven’t read anything out there quite like this and I’ve read a lot :D It contains hate, adventure, lust, love, supernatural beings, characters growing as people right in front of your eyes and allows you to relate to them as the story progresses.
So here’s the Angel Series, of course only Book
One is available at this time, Book Two is coming Soon. In the mean time you can get
your hands on Book One.
