These questions are standard so don't worry about how you answer or if you answer them correctly, it's all good :D x

So how would you describe your books?
Cypress Hill is My Baby, here is a preview of My Novella.
On a not so ordinary day in Autumn, the most extraordinary events are about to take place. They will change the lives of Mary Reilly and Jack Traynor forever. On this day Mary is taken by her Aunt to the hospital, where she will undergo a routine Tonsillectomy. How does she end up in the Morgue. Awake, unable to move,to cry out for help. Is her fate sealed? Unknown to Mary at this time, she will eventually come to find out she had lived before. Only to be Dorian (the Vampire's Beloved) in her past life. Will she be able to resist him and return to her physical body. This book is fast paced, it is literally a 24 hour race to save her mortal soul. Jack Traynor is sent to her to help her, and lead her from her peril, being physically strong helps, but will he be able to out wit Dorian. Protect Mary, and help her in present state as a ghost of sorts back to her body, and stop the unstoppable terror entranced with Mary. It is a race against time with many obstacles standing in the way. It is not your usually Vampire story there are many things lurking on Cypress Hill, and did I mention, its All Hollows Eve.
A twist of fate. Eternal evil. A woman caught between life, heaven, and hell. A love that breaks the boundaries beyond the veil. By all medical standards, Mary Reilly is dead. Lifeless, her body lies on a cold steel gurney in the mortuary. Her ‘inner eyes’ open, discovering her body. Immobile, Mary needs answers and help. Who will believe? With less than 24 hours before oblivion she embarks on a desperate fight for her life – and Jack Traynor must learn more than the ropes at Olympus Lawn Cemetery: He must master the art of survival in confronting an unstoppable terror obsessed with Mary. His destiny is to save Mary from a fate waiting for her in a plot on Cypress Hill. Or is it?

What Genre is your work mainly? Do you tend to stay in the same vein or are you hoping (if not already) to explore new ventures?
Horror- Thriller- Young Adult- I am ready to expand a little- my next book  may be non fiction, and I do have a Sci-Fi  novel in the works.

What inspired you to write your book?
I had a friend who worked at a cemetery, it was a beautiful park like cemetery, yet eerie were the hills there, when the wind blew up. I was there quite often, finally he said why don't you write a book about this place. Its exactly what I did.

Who was the easiest character to write and why? Hardest and why?
The characters for this Novella came easy to me, I could relate to Mary.I put myself in her shoes while writing this, some situations were very intense. My character Jack a very strong, handsome and clever male character, and easy to fall in love with, yet vulnerable, I loved every minute of it, how he was going to react to Mary's behaviors which changed very frequently in the course of this desperate 24 period, to save her mortal soul.
Are your characters based on real people? People you may know or TV/Movie stars?
No my characters are from my imagination.
Love it x

Without giving anything away, what is/are your favorite scene(s) in your book?
One of my favorites scenes is where Jack working out in the Cemetery suddenly hears a female voice desperately asking for his help. Yet he see no-one.

If you had a theme song for Cypress Hill, what would it be and why?
Don't fear the reaper - just love that song, lol
A classic, totally awesome on repeat and full blast!!

Do you listen to music while you write your books?
I usually do not listen to music while I am writing, it bothers my concentration. Bummer to some I guess who love to do this.
What’s up next for you?
Next I am writing a book on My Haunted Life, my childhood and adult experiences with the Paranormal.
That's seriously off the chart exciting, i'd totally be into reading that x

What inspired you to be a writer? Is there anything in particular that spurred you on?
"Imagination is endless, In all of life there is a story" Mackenzie Knight.
I just always loved to write, as a child I'd draw a picture with a story under it, then diaries. Next I stared writing articles. I have about 10 unfinished manuscripts in my closet. I have to write, its who I am.

I think we all start off in similar ways, i too was exactly the same (Still!), i used to write so i could act them out with my cousins up my grandparents house on a saturday, we'd practise all week and perform in front of our family lol I was always expressing myself in one form of entertainment or another x

Another little look into the background  of your writing: when did you start?
What was your first piece?
First published piece, tell us about your general history…
I have been writing since I was a little girl, I wrote my first magazine article when I was 13. Years later I became a Ghost writer, several of the works were on the top 10 bestsellers list, of course I cannot reveal the Authors. Daily Life has a way of stopping you in your tracks, but the time is right now so I will plug away and get my books out as quickly as I can. Cypress Hill is my baby I love the story, I just wish I had published it and edited it all myself, It was a self publishing house but I was not impressed with the company, needless to say it was cut way down from the original manuscript for no reason, just to fit their desire. They also do not work with their Authors, Lesson learned. Next book I am using a regular publishing house, or do it all myself.

Do you have any favorite books or authors?
Yes many, Nora Roberts also Nora as J.D. Robb, Stephen King. P.C. Cast, I love many writers who have been on my radio show such as Barbara Watkins, her book Hollowing Screams is amazing. I love Betty Dravis too, Georgina Cannon. Judika Illes, Dorothy Morrison, great sense of humor in her book. Most all the books from my guests were amazing.  I enjoy reading a huge variety of topics. I cannot say Romance is at the top of my list. It just doesn't move me. Only Nora's books.

Are you working on anything else besides this?
I am writing the book on my haunted life -childhood, right now. I have had many many paranormal experiences and could fall into the category of a Psychic kid, on going, it should be out before next year.

Here could you give us a few words to people who haven’t yet read your book.
Sell your work ;)
You will love Cypress Hill, it is not like other Vampire tales, it is unique, fast paced, and believe me its a non stop read. Author Barbara Watkins, who wrote Hollowing Screams which is soon to be a movie gave it a 5 star review. Give it a try. Where else can you find Vampires, angels, Ghosts, and the undead ( not zombies) and a voodoo like curse all in one action packed race against time. It may be a Novella but it packs a big punch.

Barbara's review can be found at-

I give 'Cypress Hill' Five Spooky Stars, and Five Gold Stars to the author for creating a superb, terrifying read!
