So hun, lets get
going and start by you tell everyone a little bit about yourself?
I live in Australia with my family and animals and along with writing and reading I have a passion for performing arts
How would you
describe 'your book (s)'?
New Adult urban fantasy with a hint of dystopia – a new twist on angels
What Genre is your
work mainly? Do you tend to stay in the same vein or are you hoping (if not
already) to explore new ventures?
The genre I am currently writing in is New adult urban fantasy but I also have two young adult series in the works.
The inspiration for my first book came to me in a dream, but I also wanted to write about Nephilim in a college setting. Things inspire me everyday.
Who was the easiest character to write and
why? Hardest and why?
Hmm easiest character was either Scarlett or Lakyn because they are my favourites to write. Hardest is probably the minor characters such as Del and Thomas because you don’t know how much personality to write into the story and whether or not how significant they are.
Are your characters based on real people?
People you may know or TV/Movie stars?
The relationship between Matt Bomer’s character Cooper, when he was on Glee, with his younger brother Blaine (Darren Criss) really inspired the relationship between Lakyn and Dyston.
Without giving anything away, what is/are
your favorite scene(s) in 'your book'?
I love any of the tender scenes between Dyston and Scarlett, but I also loved writing jacob’s adventures in Rome in The Chronicles of Blood and Stone.
If 'your book (s)' had a theme song, what
would it be and why?
Well Scarlett has a theme song, Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys
Do you listen to music while you write your
book (s)? If so ... what songs?
Yes, either Birdy, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 or Bruno Mars, whatever I feel like on the day.
What’s up next for you?
Well I am about to publish my second book The Chronicles of Blood and Stone and after that I am taking a little break after my blog tour because I am heading overseas, but after that I will be back at work on my next book.
What inspired you
to be a writer? Is there anything in particular that spurred you on?
I used to write song lyrics and fan fiction. Certain authors like Kathy Reichs and Cassandra Clare and Phillip Pullman really inspired me to write. It was a combination of them and some significant events that had happened in my life at the time that inspired me to write. I needed to get my feelings out on paper.
What’s came first
the chicken or the egg? Lol
The Chicken because God made all the animals.
A little background
into your writing: when did you start?
What was your first piece?
First
published piece, tell us about your general history…
I began when I was around fifteen when I began writing song lyrics for personal enjoyment, then at about nineteen a friend introduced me to a fan fiction site where, as of now, have published over 20 stories. But it wasn’t until last year when the inspiration for my first novel came to me in a dream, a sexy angel with black wings in love with a girl with red hair. This became the prologue in The Chronicles of Fire and Ice.
Do you have any
favorite books or authors?
There are so many favourite authors now that I have discovered indies, too many to list; Airicka Phoenix, Melissa Andrea, L.P Dover, Cameo Renae just to name a few. Some of my fave traditional published authors are Cassandra Clare, Phillip Pullman, Dan Brown and Kathy Reichs.
Are you working on
anything else besides this?
I am working on book 3 of The Legend of Archangel series, The Chronicles of Silver and Gold, a YA spin off called The Garden of Eden, and an entirely new series called The Aqua Chronicles.
Here could you give
us a few words to people who haven’t yet read your book (s).
Sell your work ;)
Ever imagined what the world would be like if angels took over the human population?
Lol whoa girl, easy! I got enough going on in my
head as it is lol :P

Is love stronger than race?
The world is changing as we know it, the human race is dwindling, but so are the angels. In order to preserve their bloodlines they have bred with humans, creating a new race called Nephilim. But there is one race that is more endangered than humans or Seraphim, Archangels.
As most people believe the Archangels have become extinct, rumours surface of a Legend; that a baby was born out of flame, the offspring of an archangel.
Dyston Blackbell is tasked to find and protect this child. He sends her strange dreams in hope that she will find him. When he discovers that she has enrolled at his family’s angel academy in Melbourne, he will do anything to protect Scarlett. But when he finds himself falling for her the Heavenly realm rejects him thus turning his wings black.
But 21-year-old Scarlett Porter realises that being half Archangel has some advantages. She has developed a unique trait, one that marks her as an Archangel. Will she keep it to herself or use it to fight back?
When an old enemy resurfaces, The Lucifites, Scarlett discovers that Dyston’s older brother Lakyn is at the helm of their sinister plans; to destroy the Nephilim race or use Scarlett for their own selfish purposes when they find out who she really is.
And when Lakyn discovers that Scarlett had only seduced him to rescue Dyston from his prison in the Realm of Light, it sends him on a journey of self-discovery and destruction. One that sees him venturing farther off course than his father would like. Will he choose a new life of love or his old life of darkness?
