A little bit about the Author:

Georgina is an IT Consult from Surrey, England. She works full time and loves her writing.

I have always loved reading and writing. I wrote my first story when I was 13, subsequently I lost that story as there was only 1 copy of it written on paper at the time and having lent it to a friend to read they lost it and claimed “my dog ate it!” I wasn’t too happy but have since been in the process of re-writing it from memory. I was able to remember key points and have been adapting the story with lessons I have learnt over the years.

Can you tell me a bit about your book, describe 'your book?

My book Cursed is a young adult, easy to read, horror with a bit of romance thrown in. It’s a great book for both younger teenagers and adults.

What inspired you to write your book? 

I had a day trip to Dartmoor and I loved it. I could tell it was full of hidden secrets and ever since then the idea was bubbling away until I researched the area more and began the story back in 2010.

Who was the easiest character to write and why? Hardest and why?

Daisy was the easiest to write because she her personality and the way she reacts to people were based on myself. Tyler was the hardest because he is meant to be a very complicated person and understanding him was a hard thing for me.

Without giving anything away, what is/are your favorite scene(s) in your book?

My favorite scenes are when they are at Okehampton castle and also when Daisy goes exploring alone.

Do you have any favorite books or authors?

Yes lots! I love Fallen by Lauren Kate.

That series is fantastic but the first book Fallen is definitely my fav.

I also love The Iron Witch series by Karen Mahoney. It’s an exciting and interesting book and I am utterly hooked.

If your book had a theme song, what would it be and why?

A theme song? Wow I don’t know actually, something dark and mysterious I’d like to think.

Do you listen to music while you write your book? 

If so ... what songs?

Yes it helps me to keep focus.

I tend to have the radio on my TV to The Hits Radio so any songs they are playing at the time.

What’s up next for you?

Well currently I am trying to market Cursed as much as possible now it’s available in paperback and eBook formats.
