Tell us a bit about
yourself?
Let’s see… I’m one of those “busy” mom’s. Not only do I work a full-time job, my teen plays basketball just about year round. In April we start traveling extensively and I’m looking for ways to make those trips about me – ha!Plus my youngest has started playing spring/ summer basketball and because the basketball Gods love me – I have zero scheudling conflicts.Oh that sounds so boring…

believe how much I idolize your life right now haha! Sounds like such an
awesome existence and so much fun!
How would you describe
your books?
Forever My Girl (The Beaumont Series #1) is an adult contemp novel about second chance love. Liam, my main character, makes a major decision and pays the price fo the ten years he’s been missing. He comes home to face the people he left behind.
My Everything (The Beaumont Series #1.5) is a novella (out on Monday) for Nick – the guy who totally gets shafted in Forever My Girl.May 1st – assumming edits go well – I’ll be releasing a new adult/coming of age novel called Lost in You. It’s about a young man from the wrong side of the tracks who attracts the attention from America’s Pop Princess.My Unexpected Forever (The Beaumont Series #2) is the sequel or continuation to Forever My Girl
What Genre is your work
mainly? Do you tend to stay in the same vein or are you hoping (if not already)
to explore new ventures?
What inspired you to write your books?Contemp is my absolute favorite because I can take real-life events or experiences and weave them into the story. I do have a YA paranormal done, but plan to re-write it as more of a contemp story.
I’ve always wanted to be a writer and with the encouragment of friends – I finally took the leap.
Are you working on
anything else besides this?
I’ve outlined two new series, but those are underwraps for now.
Who was the easiest
character to write and why?
Hardest and why?
Liam was by far the easiest – he flowed so well.Mason was the hardest because he’s not there to talk. Everything about Mason a memory that had to be created from other characters.
Are your characters based
on real people? People you may know or TV/Movie stars?
Looks; yes. But not personality...Forever My Girl: Liam would be Stephen Amell and Josie would be Miranda Kerr.My Everything: Chris Hemsworth is Nick.My Unexpected Forever: Harrison would be Adam Levine and Katelyn is Jenna Dewan-Tatum.Lost in You: Colton Haynes would be Ryan and a young Carrie Underwood is Hadley
That would be an awesome

Without giving anything
away, what is/are your favorite scene(s) in one of your books?
In Forever My Girl – when Liam finds out what he’s missed by being gone for ten years.My Everything – when Nick gets to see NoahLost in You – When Ryan and Hadley see each other.

Do you listen to music
while you write your book (s)? If so ... what songs?
Oh goodness… Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Bon Jovi (yes I do!) P!nk – just about everything.

I can multitask like nobodies business – okay not really a talent. Sadly, no.My children all took it from me :)

What was your first piece?
First published piece,

I started about two, maybe three years ago with a YA contemp that sadly I’m still working on.My first published piece is Forever My Girl.
Do you have any favorite
books or authors?
I don’t. I used to read all the time, 3 books a week, but once I started writing seriously I had to put it aside. Now I’m lucky to read once a month.
