I really enjoyed this book.
Usually, the book is a beginning of a relationship setting where the couple has just met, and they are getting to know each other. You get to see the normal struggles and fights to keep one another. However, this book is a set where the couple are already established. They're already married, they've been there, done that, got the t-shirt so to speak lol. It's beautiful to read a story that's different from where I normally begin one. I get to watch a couple who've been through the most difficult stage of a relationship and actually see the next step of the difficulties of the relationship lol. It's great! I love the uniqueness and I love originality. This book has it. I will totally recommend this book to you.

So, I promised you a Christmas competition.

This is going to be a grand prize where everyone wins. However, only two people can win tickets to the biggest prize of all. And those of you who entered are still winners.

For a chance at winning two tickets (two for two lucky winners) to my book signing on June 23rd in Cardiff, South Wales, at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel and Spa you must:

1) Read and Review at least one of the A Broken Paradise Series books if not all.

(This is vital as you will need to know the characters,

storyline, concept etc. Also reviewing the chosen book will tell us that you have read it).

2) Create your own Character.

(This character will feature in the A Broken Paradise future

books. This character can be a part of the Alliance, Resistance or another SSCC world members. Hence why you will have to read the books so that you can pick your creation background perfectly).

3). Submit your review and creation by the 20th of March

2018.

(We will announce the winner on this date so please give

ample time for us to pick a winner.)

Effectively you will all be winners even if you are not the lucky winners of the two tickets. I will add all of your creations the best I can into future books of the Broken Paradise Series, and you will all have your personal thanks in the books to come.

This story was heartbreaking. It didn't know what I was expecting at first because I hadn't read any reviews or even the blurb for that matter. Although I was warned by the Author of it's finer detail.
Child loss.
As a mother who has also suffered at the hands of this heinous and tragic event, I still read it anyway. And all I can say is that the words and the emotion that were poured into this book are so accurate it's scary. I don't think that it lays down to just child loss. I believe that anyone who's suffered at the hands of any sort of mental disorder can relate to Alana's story in some way, even to her. Her struggles for what's real, what's right what's fabrication, and what's wrong have all crossed and narrowed into one. It's amazing how everything unfolds, and you didn't see it coming. The way that K.A has written this, you feel you're living this poor woman's life. You are her somehow. I couldn't put it down. My thirst to know 'How?', 'Why?' And 'Are you real?' Just took over my every thought. And even at the end, I couldn't believe poor Alana's fate. WTF did this poor girl do to deserve such BS of a life. The women deserved so much more. She deserved her happily ever after.
A Must read. It puts a lot of things into perspective. You see things differently. Feel differently after this. It deserves your time.

Well, what can I say other than Brilliant.

Poor Jess had no choice other than to survive and keep a roof over her and her families heads. Even if that meant she had to do the most unthinkable and degrading job for money.
No, she's not a Prostitute lol But close.

Jess is left to take care of her two younger brothers and four-year-old Daughter, while her mother drinks herself into a stupor and grinds up debt that Jess must pay off. Things weren't always like this. Before her older brother, Owen was sent down for Supplying a Class A Drug; he was the one who looked after them. So what else could Jess do? She has no qualifications, no experience and no time to spare. How was she going to keep her family afloat? The only way she could was at the Pleasure Palace.
With not much more to pay off from her sorry mother's debt and the return of Owen, Jess is aiming for the light at the end of the tunnel. She finally has help on the way. But not all is smiles when an old flame and Jess' daughter's father comes back to town and with him some serious secrets and lies. I really enjoyed the storyline of Luke and Morgan. The development of the characters, attention to detail that surrounded their story were all vital in every step they took. I loved the twists and turns just as it should be - there shouldn't be any different from real life. Nothing is simple, and nothing is easy, but some time down the line things will get better. Or should I say: "Sometimes in life, you have to weather the storm. And when you do, there is always sunshine."

Well worth the read. I have enjoyed all of the Deadly Series but this one I think is my favourite. If you're looking for a cosy yet dangerous read, this is your go to.

I enjoyed this book, not just from an editor's point of view but a reader also. Phil has a brilliant eye for detail and punctuation. Everything he describes is fluent and gripping. I am a massive fan of Fantasy and Paranormal, as I too am a Paranormal Writer. However, Phil didn't fail to host a world of all things creeping in the darkness, watching you, stalking you, observing you, and all things that lurk from the depth for all things metaphysical. I can't wait for The Turning.

I am a big fan of the Angel's and Demons of this world. A beautiful concept of good and evil among the struggles of life and most importantly the fight for Love.

Amy is a troubled young woman - destructive. And rightfully so when you read about her life. Or lack of life. This poor woman has been through so much that she doesn't even know what's real anymore and when she's finally told what's real it's snatched away from her. But she fights for it, and she discovers things about herself that she never knew possible. A whole can of paranormal awesomeness in this story.

I wouldn't want to discriminate, but some scenes are not for younger readers, for people who suffer from some deep seeded depression. Only because of it's content and Amy's emotional struggles throughout the book - some readers might be susceptible to this type of content. It's not graphic that's not what I'm saying, but it pulls at your heartstrings. But it totally has some badassery :P
